La conception EN • Developping a furniture design

Furniture design creation

Immerse yourself in a design studio setting and explore the early stages of furniture development. This course will introduce you to the fundamental tools of design. Using a moodboard, you will be guided through the process of drawing up a set of plans that will take you from initial concept to finished design.

You will be guided through the steps of structuring your ideas and transforming them into a coherent design. To put the learning material into practice, each participant will create a visual representation of their choice. Coursework will focus on working by hand, but you are free to use digital tools if you are already comfortable with them.
